About The Event
The Virtual Experience Company has been developing 3D multimedia in the cultural heritage sector since 1999, and has developed projects widely across the UK, Ireland and the MENA region. Over the past 5 years they have been particularly active in Tunisia, working with local partners as well as the Universities of Cambridge, Essex, and Anglia Ruskin. Using the latest gaming and Virtual Reality technologies, they have explored how to bring the heritage of Tunisia to a wide audience, from local school students to the wider world.
Mike Gogan, founding director of the company, will deliver a presentation at the ABCC, where he will share his experiences of helping to promote and protect heritage sites including the Palais Ksar Said, El Jem, Thuburbo Majus and Beni Khalled.
In Partnership with the Tunisian Embassy in London.
